Women's Ordination? Women in Pastoral Ministry?

At the heart of the contention over Women's Ordination is an attack against God's Design for the FAMILY. From the beginning in Genesis 1, God created male and female in His image, and with the distinct purpose that they would "be fruitful and multiply" upon the Earth, and thus reproduce the image of God through their children.  The FAMILY Order has been and still is God's Design to reflect His Holy Image to the entire universe as never before.

The Nature and Order of the Godhead is mirrored in that of the FAMILY structure, though in a limited sense. The truth of the Trinity is reflected and seen in that of the FAMILY, 3 Equal Personal Beings to 1 Family~"The God-Head."  The Biblical Truth of GOD being 3 Divine and Distinct Beings but Only ONE GOD is revealed in the existence of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  God's design was to reveal Himself through humanity, but He did so by making TWO distinct but equally different beings; male and female. BOTH were to represent the ONE True God of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. But why didn't God create 3 beings instead of just two, if there really is a Trinity?

This picture of God would be complete as Adam and Eve conceive a son thus creating the first family, bringing into existence the reality of FAMILY. There may be some significance to the fact that the first born child of humanity was a "son" not a daughter, male and not female. Was God being unfair? Displaying His "inequality?" Why not allow Adam and Eve to have twins, one boy and one girl?

* The Godhead is exclusively MALE~Then why was woman also made in God's image IF God is not any part female? In what sense is the man and woman made in God's image? Obviously the woman is NOT made in the image of God according to His gender. But the man is, and so then male and female are not identical in reflecting God's image and yet they BOTH are still made in God's Image.

The Divine Trinity is reflected in the FAMILY; we have Father, Mother, and Child, these 3 make up a FAMILY and they are reflective of God's image as far a humanly possible.

In order to have a FAMILY it requires 3 Distinct Individuals, yet, together they only make up ONE Family. That's as far as we are to take this analogy in regard to the Nature of GOD.  Just as it requires 3 Letters to spell GODGO, and D, so GOD consists of 3 Divine Individual Holy Beings~The Holy Trinity, GOD in 3 Persons, Blessed Trinity.

It is evident that in the Creation Design of God He created male and female to be husband and wife, and to have children.  These 3 distinct persons represent equally the image of God but in unique and different ways from one another.  They are all equal as far as being made in God's image, but it takes male and female to correctly represent the image or character of God. One is not complete without the other.  Thus, there is complete equality of worth or value.

But why didn't God make them both at the same time?  Was this an oversight or was it on purpose and intentional?  And for what reason?

NLT  1 Corinthians 11:8-9  8 For the first man didn't come from woman, but the first woman came from man. 9 And man was not made for woman, but woman was made for man.

Obviously God made the man FIRST before making the woman (see Genesis 2:7-8, 15, 18-25). Adam saw that all other creatures had a corresponding mate but he was all alone, and this caused him to feel "bad," that something wan't quite right, something was missing.  He felt empty and incomplete and lonely. And God did this on purpose and with good reason. Desires arose in Adam for companionship. And God intended it to be this way in order to impress the man of his need for a companion, and to give him a stronger sense of appreciation for what God had in store for him. God was about to give him the gift of a woman to be his lawfully wedded wife, to honor, cherish, and love.  Thus husband and wife were created in God's sinless creation order by His intentional design.  This included His willful and purposeful creating of the MAN first before His creation of the women.  God set this order "in the beginning" . . . and for what purpose?

We must remember that "The woman was made FOR man, and not man for the woman." And it was God's design was that women was to be a compliment to the man, one corresponding to himWhat does this have to do with Women's Ordination and Women in "Pastoral" Ministry?

Its is argued that the contention over Women's Ordination and the strategic campaign for the ordination of women to the gospel ministry as legitimate "pastors" is fueled by the demand for "equality" and the ethical treatment of women by the human race.

So, lets consider the Biblical Truth about the equality of men and women.  It is revealed in the Creation Order of male and female. Remember God is the one who did things this way and in this order for a reason.

In the Creation of man, MAN was created first and this in indisputable fact of creation. It is GOD Who did this and in this exact ORDER.  The Creation ORDER was purposefully and intentionally MAN first, then WOMAN.  Some will foolishly argue that this means nothing and that there is "no headship principle" of man over woman in the Bible, and thus woman are totally equal with men, and men with women.  As stated before, men and women are created equally in God's image and therefore both are of equal value, BUT God still created MAN before He created WOMAN, and the Bible is clear as sunlight that the woman was made "FOR" the MAN and not man for the WOMAN.  Equality or Inequality . . . ?  Let's investigate the reality of the facts;

ESV Genesis 2:18-20  18 Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him." 19 Now out of the ground the LORD God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. 20 The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him.

Please NOTE: Woman was not designed to be another "man" and "equal" to a "man," but rather to be a counter-part to him, to be in configuration to the man, but not a duplicate clone image of man.  Woman was created "for man" to be "fit for him," that is a "suitable companion for him." This is in perfect harmony with the apostle Paul's theology that "man was created first" and that the "woman was made for man and not man for the woman." 1 Corinthians 11:8-9.

It is vital to note that woman was made in the image of God, not man.  She is made to be the "glory  of man" but not in "his image." She is not made in his likeness. She is NOT "like a man."  She is not "man's equal" in that she is unique and distinct from man, but similar to him in the type of creatures they are, "after their kind."  While both male and female are equally made in God's image, and thus equal in value . . . they ARE NOT "equal" to one another.  A man is not equally a woman neither is a woman equally a man. Any one can recognize the obvious inequality of men and women in their nature, function, and personality.  Men are physiologically different then women. They can never be "equal" to one another.  There are things a man can never do that only women can do; a man can never give birth and mother a child, for he is physically incapable of doing so. A man can never be a woman nor a woman be a man.  A woman can NEVER father a child, for she is physically incapable of doing so. There is no such thing as "gender equality." And it was and still is God's designed will for men and women to BE unequal to one another.  This is either the truth or it is not.  The answer should be obvious as a train wreck.

From Creation it was God Who created this inequality of genders, of male and female, on purpose and for a very good reason.  Sure they are BOTH of equal value and worth in God's sight, they are BOTH equally made in God's image . . . How then can anyone argue against the physical reality of the inequality of men and women by saying "there is neither male nor female" (anymore) for we have all been made "one in Christ?" Galatians 2:28.  The problem is that this is a misuse of the text and a misapplication of its obvious meaning and intent.  Men and Women are physically, emotionally, mentally, unequal to one another . . . yet both share equality of value in God's sight.  Nail this point down well. From here, we can now make the application to Women in Ministry in the Church of the Living God.

Becoming a Christian DOES NOT remove the physical reality of male and females, thus turning the Christian Church into an assembly of hermaphrodites, being neither male nor female but a blend of them both.  Sure, we are all one in Christ, but that does not remove our individuality and neither does it remove our genderness of being male or female.  Christians are still, and will ever be male and female.  This will never go away! Ever! Even in the Church;

CBJ 1 Timothy 5:1-2 1 Do not rebuke an older man sharply, but appeal to him as you would to a father; treat younger men like brothers, 2 older women like mothers, and younger women like sisters, with absolute purity.

CSB 1 Timothy 5:1-2 1 Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brothers, 2 older women as mothers, and with all propriety, the younger women as sisters.

ESV 1 Timothy 5:1-2 1 Do not rebuke an older man but encourage him as you would a father, younger men as brothers, 2 older women as mothers, younger women as sisters, in all purity.

GWN 1 Timothy 5:1-2 1 Never use harsh words when you correct an older manbut talk to him as if he were your father. Talk to younger men as if they were your brothers, 2 older women as if they were your mothers, and younger women as if they were your sisters, while keeping yourself morally pure.

KJV 1 Timothy 5:1-2 1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; 2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

NAB 1 Timothy 5:1-2 1 Do not rebuke an older man, but appeal to him as a father. Treat younger men as brothers, 2 older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters with complete purity.

NIV 1 Timothy 5:1-2 1 Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, 2 older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.

NLT 1 Timothy 5:1-2 1 Never speak harshly to an older man, but appeal to him respectfully as you would to your own father. Talk to younger men as you would to your own brothers. 2 Treat older women as you would your mother, and treat younger women with all purity as you would your own sisters.

NOTE that IN the Church Family we are to look at and even treat one another according to our physical distinctions of being male and female. IN the Church Family there ARE still "fathers" and "mothers" (in spite of Galatians 2:28), and we are to treat someone who is MALE either as our own "father" or our own "brother," as well as those who are physically female as if there were our own "mother" or our own "sister."  This is in spite of the truth of Galatians 2:28 "there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

It is so very obvious that IN the Church there ARE males and females, husbands and wives and children, AND therefore their relationship to one another as God designed it from the beginning is still intact.  The preaching of and the experiencing of the Gospel does not and did not change the creation order of the FAMILY!

THE Church is a FAMILY of FATHERS and MOTHERS and BROTHERS and SISTERS. When any one comes along and proposes that this male/female order is a sign of inequality of the species, they have, at that point stepped out of order with God's created design for men and women, and are now making an assault against the concept of the Christian FAMILY, CHURCH FAMILY, and even against God's creative order and distinction of MALE and FEMALE.  This is so serious to tamper with the God-given theology of Creation Order for the FAMILY.

Fathers can not interchange roles with the mothers, either in the literal family as well as in the "Spiritual FAMILY of God" (that is in the Church FAMILY). A father CANNOT ever become a mother, and a mother CANNOT ever become a father. A woman CANNOT ever "father a child" and a man CANNOT ever give birth to a child. We can cry "Inequality!" "The LORD's ways are not equal" But that's not what this is.

KJV Ezekiel 18:25  Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?

GWN Ezekiel 18:29 "But the nation of Israel says, 'The Lord's way is unfair.' Isn't my way fair, nation of Israel? Isn't it your ways that are unfair?

KJV Ezekiel 18:29 Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?

NAB Ezekiel 18:29 And yet the house of Israel says, "The LORD'S way is not fair!" Is it my way that is not fair, house of Israel, or rather, is it not that your ways are not fair?

NIV Ezekiel 18:29 Yet the house of Israel says, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' Are my ways unjust, O house of Israel? Is it not your ways that are unjust?

NLT Ezekiel 18:29 And yet the people of Israel keep saying, 'The Lord isn't doing what's right!' O people of Israel, it is you who are not doing what's right, not I.

Males and Females are distinct from one another, and all by God's intentional and creative design. A man cannot become a women and a woman cannot become a man. It's just physiologically impossible. If this is the physical reality of life in our families, then it is so, also in the Church Family, which is made up of multitudes of physical family units. This is God's creation order and we are not at liberty to change it.

The reality is that THERE ARE IN THE CHURCH FAMILY literal fathers and literal mothers as well as spiritual fathers and spiritual mothers (1 Timothy 5:1-2) and if it is wrong to interchange the roles of literal fathers and mothers in the home, then it is just as wrong to try and interchange or exchange the role of spiritual fathers and spiritual mothers in the Church Family.  This role exchange of fathers for mothers, wives in the place of husbands is not to far distant from the "exchange" of the "natural use of women" or abandoning of "the natural relationship" in regard to men in exchange for unnatural relationships.  While the following passages are dealing with sexual relationship between men and men, and women with women, I am only making the application of the role exchange of fathers with mothers and husbands with wives as being "contrary to nature," to what is "natural," both in the physical reality of the family as well as the spiritual reality of men and women in the church and their God-given distinct roles in the church as spiritual fathers and mothers.  I am not saying that those who are in favor of placing women in the spiritual roles of fathers in the Church as elders/pastors are on the same ground as homosexuals, though it will eventually be reasoned that if women can take the place of men as the spiritual fathers (elder/pastors) in the Church Family-because there is "neither male or female" anymore, that the sexual distinction of "male and female" have been removed in the Church Family by the gospel, then homosexuals cannot be forbidden from being ordained as elders and pastors. And this is ALL contrary to what is "natural."  Take the time to read these passages and decide for yourself if what I am saying is the truth or not;

NIV Romans 1:18-30  18 ¶ The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-- his eternal power and divine nature-- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. 24 ¶ Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator-- who is forever praised. Amen. 26 ¶ Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. 28 ¶ Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents.

NLT Romans 1:18-30  18 ¶ But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. 19 They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. 20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities-- his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. 21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn't worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. 23 And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles. 24 ¶ So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other's bodies. 25 They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. 26 ¶ That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. 27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved. 28 ¶ Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. 29 Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. 30 They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents.

Please NOTE the rebellion of the homosexuals to "their parents" in "disobeying them" is a direct result of choosing to live contrary to that which is natural, contrary to the FAMILY Order God set up at creation in the beginning.  The point here is, there is to be no role exchange of men and women in relationship to their God appointed roles as "husbands and wives," so that no WOMEN therefor can be "the husband of one wife" (1 Timothy 3:2), and be ordained as "elders/pastors" of church families.  This is NOT "the natural use of women."

Paul said "To those who are married I have a command, and it is not from me but from the Lord: a woman is not to separate herself from her husband."  So the Bible tell us that it is not "natural" for women to have their hair shaved off like a man, nor for a man to have long hair like a woman, because it is "contrary to nature" and what NATURE teaches us.

CJB 1 Corinthians 11:3-11  3 But I want you to understand that the head of every man is the Messiah, and the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of the Messiah is God. 4 Every man who prays or prophesies wearing something down over his head brings shame to his head, 5 but every woman who prays or prophesies with her head unveiled brings shame to her head- there is no difference between her and a woman who has had her head shaved. 6 For if a woman is not veiled, let her also have her hair cut short; but if it is shameful for a woman to wear her hair cut short or to have her head shaved, then let her be veiled. 7 For a man indeed should not have his head veiled, because he is the image and glory of God, and the woman is the glory of man. 8 For man was not made from woman, but woman from man; 9 and indeed man was not created for the sake of the woman but woman for the sake of the man. 10 The reason a woman should show by veiling her head that she is under authority has to do with the angels. 11 Nevertheless, in union with the Lord neither is woman independent of man nor is man independent of woman; 12 for as the woman was made from the man, so also the man is now born through the woman. But everything is from God. 13 Decide for yourselves: is it appropriate for a woman to pray to God when she is unveiled? 14 Doesn't the nature of things itself teach you that a man who wears his hair long degrades himself? 15 But a woman who wears her hair long enhances her appearance, because her hair has been given to her as a covering.

NATURE makes a distinction between men and women in the physical appearance, and this is BASED on God's creation design. We are to keep it this way, to keep these role distinctions intact.  What God has joined together we are not at liberty to separate, nor are we at liberty to blend or exchange with one another that which what God has made separate and distinct.

When a woman enters "the ministry" and acts like a man, cuts her hair short or shaves it bald, and dresses in  suit. .  is she not violating the laws of Nature?  Her hair was given to her as a symbol or sign that she is under her husband's "authority" and this applies in the Church, not just in the privacy of her own home.  A woman must remain under the rule of this law IN the Church Family, she must remain under her husband's "authority" as his wife, showing even by her appearance, her "long hair," that she is submissive to her husband as it is fit in the Lord.

Paul makes this a rule IN the Church, and even right during the worship service of the congregation where the pastor is most visually prominent;

CSB 1 Corinthians 14:33-37   33 ¶ Since God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints, 34 the women should be silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak, but should be submissive, as the law also says. 35 And if they want to learn something, they should ask their own husbands at home, for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak [in such a non-submissive manner] in the church meeting. 36 Did the word of God originate from you, or did it come to you only? 37 ¶ If anyone thinks he is a prophet or spiritual, he should recognize that what I write to you is the Lord's command.

Right here, at this point, the entire controversy over whether women should be ordained as ministers and placed over church congregations as their pastors/elders, should cease!  EGW states that the Bible is to decide ALL controversies. See EGW's 1888 Materials;

"The word of God is the great detector of error; to it we believe everything must be brought. The Bible must be our standard for every doctrine and preaching. We must study it reverentially. We are to receive no one’s opinion without comparing it with the Scriptures. Here is divine authority which is supreme in matters of faithIt is the word of the living God that is to decide all controversies.
The Ellen G. White 1888 Materials. 1987; 2002 (44). Ellen G. White Estate.

Paul clearly states that what he wrote about women being submissive during the worship service meetings, applies to ALL THE CHURCHES of the saints.  This was not a local cultural rule of law.  Rather, he says it is a universal law IN ALL THE CHURCHES, and even goes beyond this absolute clarity by stating that if anyone thinks he/she is a "spiritual"~a Holy Spirit gifted leader, or even a "prophet," and would think that what Paul just wrote here is just a personal male-discriminatory opinion, they better reconsider the matter; for he calls such ones on the carpet by asking the question; "Did the word of God originate from you, or did it come to you only?" Then he lays down a test of their religious calling and spirituality; "If anyone thinks he is a prophet or spiritual, he should recognize that what I write to you is the Lord's command."

What is it precisely, that is "the Lord's command" which was the rule "in ALL the CHURCHES of the saints?" It was that WOMEN be submissive to their husbands IN the Church, and even in its assemblies for worship as church congregations!  This is clearly not a cultural conformity to some local social whim of the males.  It is a commandment of the Lord Who established the New Testament Church on the bedrock of Biblical Law & Order, which was to rule in ALL the Churches, not just the one in Corinth.  We need to nail this point down well for their are those, who though very educated and intelligent, would try and pull this nail out and remove that which God has nailed down for us and for all the churches of the saints.

The Bible is clear here, and in other places, that the existence of males and females, husbands and wives, fathers and mothers-both literal and spiritual, are a literal reality IN the Church ORDER and STRUCTURE, and that the role reversal or exchange contrary to that which is the NATURAL ORDER of things, is itself contrary to God's Divine Design.

So, the Church is a FAMILY, with "fathers" and "mothers" who serve as the parents in the Church Family, and we cannot turn mothers into fathers by ordination, when in order to be ordained as an elder (father) one has to be capable of being a "husband" and a "father" (1 Timothy 3:1-5, Titus 1:4-10) ) AND THIS, a woman just can never BE! It is just physiologically impossible. We are to up-hold the Commandment of God to "honor father and mother" in the Home FAMILY and also to honor the spiritual "fathers and mothers" in the Church FAMILY! (1 Timothy 5:1-2; Titus 2:1-5 ).

In the Church FAMILY there ARE men and women who fill the roles of "father" and "mother," and a man cannot fill the role of a mother, and woman cannot fill the role of the father IN the Church Family. Why not?

A woman incapable of BEING a man or a husband of a wife, (1 Corinthians 11:8-9; 1 Timothy 3:2; Romans 1:24-27 ) it's just not in her nature. God created things this way~"male and female, created He them," and yet both are EQUALLY made in His image, and still, a man can never give birth, and a woman can never "father" a child.

Are they totally equal? Is this not inequality? Who is to blame for making us this way? And that is whom is to blame when the Seventh-day Adventist World Church voted not to ordain women as pastors and recognize their "ministry" as pastors as being Biblical and legitimate . . . because its not, according to God's word.

"We do not approve ordination of women to the gospel ministry"~1990 General Conference Session World Church VOTED.

Who is to blame when Paul told the Church that he does not permit any woman (married or not) to teach and usurp the authority of a man (a spiritual father) in the church. and that all women must remain submissive to their "husbands" even in the church setting? (1 Tim. 2:10-12; 1 Cor. 14:34-35).  Was it not God Who inspired Paul to write these very things?

Married women IN the Church, must remain in submission to the authority God gave to their husbands, even IN the Church organization not just at home. What about the women who are unmarried? They are like "children" and these "girls" are to be in submission to some degree (not usurping their authority) to their "fathers," who are the elders/pastors IN the church. All of those men who are not elders and pastors IN the church are to be treated as "brothers," and there is NO submissiveness of sisters to their brothers nor brothers to their sisters.

We should no,t and really cannot, argue with what God has inspired men to write as His Holy Word.

The Bible DOES tell us that women DO have a MINISTRY in Titus 2:3-5. BUT it is a ministry restricted to only the training younger women to love and obey and submit to their "husbands" (not wives), and to be "keepers at HOME," and the training of women to love their children and teach them what their being part of a family is all about, including the God-given distinction of male and female, bothers and sisters, husbands and wives.

This order in the church cannot be reverse in the Church by vote, and even the nomination to elect and ordain a woman to be "a man" or a mother to BE "a father." This kind of proposal must be rejected~IF we are going to maintain our #1 Fundamental Belief of the Bible and the Bible only as the rule of ALL Faith and Practice!

If we are going to allow for the ordination of women, then we need to get rid of FB #1. BUT this we must NEVER do! Thus, we must never approve of the ordination of women BECAUSE the Bible does not approve of it ~ by virtue of the elder being required to BE a husband, which only a man is capable of being. NO woman is capable of this, she cannot ever BE a man, which is what is required in order to BE a husband and a father, and to be an elder/pastor.

The very term "female pastor" is a contradiction in terms, much like saying "female-husband" of a "female-father."

The pastor is the father figure of the Church FAMILY, a father is ALWAYS a man and male! and it cannot be otherwise! And since a woman can never be a man, and a mother can never be a father, then a woman can never be a "husband" nor a priest, apostle, elder, pastor, or conference president. God is the One to blame for such "exclusiveness" and "inequality" for He is that One Who started this whole thing by creating them male and female in the beginning!

Jesus, Who is our supreme example and authority, NEVER appointed and ordained a woman to the ministry. We should not do that which He did not do when He first started the church~for He built the Church upon the apostles and prophets, and Himself as the Chief Corner Stone. Ephesians 2:19-21. EGW confirms this to be the Bible Truth;

"The same principles of piety and justice that were to guide the rulers among God’s people in the time of Moses and of David, were also to be followed by those given the oversight of the newly organized church of God in the gospel dispensation. In the work of setting things in order in all the churches, and ordaining suitable men to act as officers, the apostles held to the high standards of leadership outlined in the Old Testament Scriptures." ~Acts of the Apostles p. 96.

So, the order of male dominated spiritual leadership was based on principles of "justice" not inequality! And the reason why no women were ever ordained in the NT Church was because the apostles of the New Church were FOLLOWING and holding to the "high standards of leadership outlined in the Old Testament Scriptures."

The New Jerusalem is laid upon 12 foundations, not one of them is "female!" It also has 12 gates, not one of them is "female!" See Revelation 21. If we do not stop such undermining of the foundations of the Church here on earth, in our Church, then what would such people do to the all male foundations of the New Jerusalem in Heaven? How will all the women crying for "equality" feel when they see that God has built the New Jerusalem upon a foundation that did not included one woman?  What will all the women in Heaven be forced to think about, throughout all eternity, every time they have to walk across all those all-male foundations stones upon which the entire city has been built? How will they feel as they pass through those all-male gates of pearl?  These kinds of ill feelings need to be fix here and now , or else how are we going to enter into that City of Peace and remain at peace with God and ourselves?

If we do not get rid of our prejudices against God's male/female Family Order here and now, WE will be unhappy and filled with discontent when we come to enter into that New Jerusalem for the first time, and then continue harbor such ill thoughts and feelings throughout all eternity because there are No female gates of pear or female foundations of precious stones! Would God allow such unhappy and biased people to enter there?

Heaven is all about FAMILY and male female FAMILY ORDER. God made us male and female in the beginning of Creation (Genesis 1) and Jesus confirmed this truth by saying;

ESV Mark 10:6-9 6 But from the beginning of creation, 'God made them male and female.' 7 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, 8 and the two shall become one flesh.' So they are no longer two but one flesh. 9 What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate."

GWN Mark 10:6-9 6 But God made them male and female in the beginning, at creation. 7 That's why a man will leave his father and mother and will remain united with his wife, 8 and the two will be one. So they are no longer two but one. 9 Therefore, don't let anyone separate what God has joined together."

KJV Mark 10:6-9 6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. 7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. 9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

NAB Mark 10:6-9 6 But from the beginning of creation, 'God made them male and female. 7 For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother (and be joined to his wife), 8 and the two shall become one flesh.' So they are no longer two but one flesh. 9 Therefore what God has joined together, no human being must separate."

NIV Mark 10:6-9 6 "But at the beginning of creation God 'made them male and female.' 7 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, 8 and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one. 9 Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

NLT Mark 10:6-9 6 But 'God made them male and female' from the beginning of creation. 7 'This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, 8 and the two are united into one.' Since they are no longer two but one, 9 let no one split apart what God has joined together."

Jesus clearly taught it was "male and female" from the beginning of creation~Genesis 1:1 - 2:4, and that it was all God's plan, and HE created things to be just this way. God ORDER/DESIGNED the TWO to be ONE FLESH, but they are still TWO distinct persons of one male and one female. This ONE FLESH is the same thing as them BOTH being made "in God's image"~thus being on the exact same level of equality as far a VALUE and even LIKENESS to God, AND YET they are both still distinct from one another~as male is obviously physically distinct from female.

God made them ONE in unity and equality, but as separate beings of MALE and FEMALE, and Jesus said, that this ARRANGEMENT that God created and made, NO man is to split apart. The philosophy and practice of women's ordination does just this (howbeit only in the Church family). . .  it does just what Jesus said no one was to ever do. We are not at liberty to separate male-female role distinctions in the church as fathers and mothers, thus putting asunder what God has joined together as being ONE (equal) as composed of both MALE and FEMALE.

READ Titus 2:1-5 and 1 Timothy 5:1-10 and you will see the male and female order that God has established in the Church, and that the "ministry" of women being restricted by God to training younger women to love and obey their husbands, to lover their children, to be discrete, pure, respectful, and even to be submissive to their husbands, AND to stay at home and be a keeper of her home. This, a "female pastor" cannot not do because she is trying to fill the role of a father in the Church Family.

By the publicizing of the SECC actions (to elect a female president) contrary to the GC World Church, the NAD is now separating themselves from the GC World Church and establishing their own new independent denomination by their allowing such an imorral action of one of its own union conferences.  They are, by this, stepping out from under the authority of the Seventh-day Adventist World Church and need to be called back into line with and harmony with the WorldChurch.  There should be no permittance of such actions to continue to allow any female to hold and such positions while hopping and waiting to see what the 2015 General Conference Session will decide.

“The 1990 and 1995 General Conference Session decisions with respect to granting ministerial ordination to women represent the current voice of the Church in this matter. The actions of certain unions indicate their desire to establish an alternative source of authority for a matter that already carries the authority of the world Church” (“An Appeal for Unity in Respect to Ministerial Ordination Practices") . . .

“The essence of unity in Seventh-day Adventist organizational functioning is the mutual commitment of all organizations to collective decision-making in matters affecting the whole family—and the acceptance of those decisions as the authority of the Church."

"The action of any union in pursuing a different course of action represents a rejection of this key value in denominational life.

So, what we have here before us TODAY, as of October 2014, is the reality that the SECC and its UNION are leading the way in the NAD, in the REJECTION of the decision of "THE WHOLE CHURCH FAMILY" and the refusal of the acceptance of the authority of the World Church, thus expressing and acting upon "their desire to establish an alternative source of authority."

It is wrong for any UNION, CONFERENCE, CHURCH in the NAD to use the tithes (the LORD's) for such an illegitimate campaign strategy for overthrowing the authority of the World Church in order to persist in the appointing and ordaining of female "pastors" contrary to the WILL of the World Church.

What should be done, is to make an appeal for all these church entities and their constituent members, to either come back into full harmony with the WILL and DECISIONS of the World Church or face being replaced by representatives who are compliant, and if they are unwilling then possible "excommunication" (Adventist understanding, not catholic). If these renegade Adventist desire to continue in such a path, then they are free to do so, but NOT with the World Church's funds, its name, its publishing offices, or any of its employees or members. To do so is completely unethical and even sinful, not just wrong. This kind of behavior would not be tolerated in the corporate business world, just on ethical grounds of honor and respect for due authority and their principles of organization.

How can we support the NAD NewsPoints and other church publications of the NAD unless they come into harmony with the World Church by refusing to promote and publicize activities that are fostering an undermining of the Unity and Authority of the World Church and its position NOT to ordain any woman as a pastor and spiritual leader of any congregation, and certainly not vote ta woman in as conference president?

Sincerely, seeking the Truth, the Whole Truth, and nothing but the Truth, so help me dear God. Amen.
